It is with profound regret and deepest sorrow that we mourn the passing of a very special friend

 Geoff Beresford.

A gentleman in the true sense of the word, He touched the lives of a lot of our members over the past 20 years.  Fundraising week in & week out with Lil always at his side, together they have raised many thousands of pounds for the club

He'd been struggling with cancer & was undertaking an aggressive chemotherapy treatment. He knew that it was an uphill struggle. But he faced it with realism, courage, and a firm hope that he would be one of the fortunate ones. After a three year battle, he was not.

Geoff will be greatly missed by all.
