It is with profound regret and deepest sorrow that we mourn the passing of a very special friend

 Geoff Beresford.

A gentleman in the true sense of the word, He touched the lives of a lot of our members over the past 20 years.  Fundraising week in & week out with Lil always at his side, together they have raised many thousands of pounds for the club

He'd been struggling with cancer & was undertaking an aggressive chemotherapy treatment. He knew that it was an uphill struggle. But he faced it with realism, courage, and a firm hope that he would be one of the fortunate ones. After a three year battle, he was not.

Reunited

Sadly Lily has now joined Geoff.  After a few years of fighting cancer our darling Lil has passed on to be reunited once again with the love of her life.  She will be dearly missed by so many.  Words cannot express how much our Lil meant to us.  Over the past 25 years she & Geoff worked tirelessly for the club, but most of all she will be remembered for her quiet care & words of loving encouragement offered to many of us. The world is now a poorer place &our only consolation is that now Lil & Geoff are together again never to be parted.

Lovingly missed by all.
